The Eleventh Question: What Do You Value?
Reflecting on the lessons we learned in our youth, and how they've shaped our lives.
Between running errands and helping my mom prepare to help guests today (Mother’s Day here in the US), it’s a business morning. So no fluffing from me, let’s get down to business.
What values were instilled in you growing up?
As always, some considerations for exploring this topic:
Who taught you these values? How did they teach them to you?
Is there a difference, in your experience, from the values themselves and how they were conveyed to you?
Were these values demonstrated or spoken?
How have these values shaped the way you live your life? For good or for bad?
Is there a value you were taught you wish you weren’t? Or vice versa?
