The Seventeenth Question: Setting the Agenda
Figuring out how we want to use the time we have left this year.
Hopefully you’re taking a read of this week’s email, as we have some programming changes coming up for the weeks ahead.
Beginning with this week’s prompt, I won’t be sending reflections again until July 21. So that means no Friday reflections from me on questions 17 (this week), 18, and 19.
Beginning at the end of this week I’ll be with family for a vacation, and I’m going to try to limit screen time as much as I can. I’ll still line up and schedule prompts to go out to you so our practice won’t fall behind (and expect bare bones prompt deliveries), but I’ll be radio silent the rest of the week.
Looking forward to being back in touch when I return!
So, on to this week’s prompt.
What are your goals for the rest of the year?
This Friday will mark the end of the first half of 2023 (insert “Where does the time go?” talk here). Want to encourage us all to take a moment to consider how we’re going to use, and have used, that time.
Some ways to approach this:
Did you set New Year’s Resolutions or goals on January 1? What progress have you made? Do the intentions still hold for the person you are today?
If you accomplish these goals, how will your life change? What about if you don’t?
What resources do you need to make these resolutions a reality?
Can you look to anyone as a model for how to accomplish any of these goals?
Have you set any of these goals before? Why weren’t you able to accomplish it then?
Personally, I’m quite excited to set my agenda. Hope you are too.
See you in a few weeks!
