The Sixty-Fifth Question: Revisiting our Vocabulary
Still trying to fulfill the promise you made with your word for 2024, or is it time to pivot?
Neglected to give you the heads up, but the theme of these next few prompts from me will be “doing my best.” In that I’m, once again, traveling and didn’t schedule these to go out in advance. Will still get you your weekly prompt but expect me to only give you what I can with the rest!
Just left Hydra, Greece today after a friend’s wedding. Sharing some photos below. It’s a sun-soaked paradise with some of the greatest swimming spots I’ve ever been to. Not that anyone’s asking, but the Aegean is probably one of the Top 3 bodies of water in the world for swimming. And at this point ouzo has replaced water in my body and baklava my organs. Might not live long, but it’s a good existence. Some photos, and this week’s prompt, no reflection or jam, below.

The Sixty-Fifth Question
Sometimes we keep on keepin’ on. Sometimes, we pivot.
As we hit the mid-point for the year, I’m taking stock. Where have I been and where am I going? So I’m revisiting the question we thought about as we prepared to enter 2024.
What word do you want to define your 2024?
For me, that word was Focus. For a reminder on why, revisit my answer here. Thus far, I’m proud of the job I’ve done to realize that. I set an accomplished goals including running the LA Marathon and wrapping my book proposal. Now, I think I’d like to focus my word a bit further, so I’m looking to take this week to figure that out. Maybe you want to do that as well, or maybe you want to reaffirm your existing commitment. Either way, use this time this week to figure that out!
